Note 12S, another prospective member from Redmi's ever-expanding Note 12 family, will soon debut in Europe and the USA. Out of its development phase, the phone is doing test runs in different regions. Note 12S has surfaced on FCC to verify some details. Have a look.

Redmi Note 12S showed up on FCC under model number 2303CRA44A. In the files, the device previews an identical design to its precursor Redmi Note 11S. It has the same pill-shaped camera module and texturized backplate. Note 12S has four camera silos and a flash reminiscent of its forerunner.

According to its listing on FCC, Note 12S has an Audio port and an auxiliary IR blaster. It sports an MDY-14-EU charging plug, which means the charging speed on the phone is higher this time at 67 Watts, in contrast to last year's Note 11S that went out with 33W.

Speculative reports indicate MediaTek Helio G96 SoC under Note 12S's hood, similar to its parent. Since their builds are identical, it's safe to assume both the parent and successor share the screen size and stats. Note 11S has a 6.43-inch compact screen with an AMOLED panel, Full HD+ Resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The remaining specs on Note 12S won't stray too far from last year's iteration. To recall, Note 11S was a feature-packed device honing in 1000nits peak brightness, octa-core chip, and up to 8GB RAM RAM.

In photography, it boasted a quad-cam setup headed by a 108MP primary shooter. Under the shell, it had a 5000mAh cell energized by a 33W input. It also included an IP53 rating, an Audio port, fingerprint readers, and Dual-firing speakers.
