The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series was unveiled recently in the Chinese market. The global stores, however, still await the lineup’s arrival. Today, we bring joyous news for Xiaomi fans. The Redmi Note 13 5G has recently surfaced on Thailand's NBTC certification database, marking a significant step towards its worldwide debut.
The handset’s international counterpart carries the identifier 2312DRAABG. While the NBTC certification doesn't reveal specific details about the device, the global version of the Redmi Note 13 5G will likely resemble its Chinese variant in terms of specifications.
The Redmi Note 13 5G is a feature-packed device boasting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. It offers a high 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, and a 10-bit panel. Additional features include a 3.5mm audio jack, an infrared sensor, and IP54 dust and splash resistance.
Cloaked under the chassis is a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with Mali G57 GPU. The Xiaomi 5G new model offers multiple memory and storage options, including 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card. Buyers can opt for 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM to suit their needs. The software experience is MIUI 14, built on last year’s Android 13.
The camera setup is intriguing, highlighted with a 100MP primary camera (f/1.7 aperture), a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera. Powering the device is a sizable 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. Since the Note 13 5G has paved its way through multiple certification agencies, its global launch is undoubtedly near.
