Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Spotted on BIS; Global Debut On the Horizon

Fresh from its Chinese launch, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is setting its sights on broader horizons. A recent IMDA certification already hinted at its potential global foray, and now, the BIS certification site is also flashing this prodigy's credentials. All signs point to an international debut, though the when and where remain elusive.

Sporting the model tag 23090RA98I on BIS, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ seems to be teasing the upcoming launch in India. The trailing 'I' gives it away, especially when the IMDA-signed model has a “G,” and the Chinese variant strutted with a “C” at the end. Beyond this, BIS remains tight-lipped about the phone's specifics.

For context, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ stepped into the limelight earlier in January. Considering the beats of the launch rhythm, it is safe to assume that the Note 13 Pro+ should launch around the same timeline. Moreover, its cousin, the Note 13 5G, also flashed on the BIS radar and should join the foray.

China gave the Redmi Note 13 Pro series a thunderous applause, with an astonishing 410,000 units flying off the shelves in its first sales hour. The new Xiaomi 5G mobile is a masterpiece, flaunting a curvaceous AMOLED display, sharp 1.5K resolution, brisk 120Hz speed, and a luminous 1,800 nits peak.

It doesn’t shy away from the elements, boasting an IP68 resistance badge providing a shield against water and dust. Under its hood, there’s the Dimensity 7200 Ultra chip, a whopping 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 5,000 mAh powerhouse with a 120W fast charging kit.

Redmi's latest Pro device is designed to impress with its broad feature set and global appeal. In China, the phone costs approximately 1890 Yuan (~250 Euros). Expect a similar price tag while it's retailing on the international store shelves.
