Until now, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series was safe from price hikes. But you won’t find those at their original retail costs anymore. Redmi Note 13 (8/128GB) was sitting at Rs 50,000. But now, with Rs 3,000 added, the price tag goes up to Rs 53,000. The same goes for their Redmi Note 13 (8/256GB) option. Instead of Rs 55,000, it will cost Rs 58,000.
Those are the price changes for vanilla Note 13. The Redmi Note 13 Pro gets an increment of Rs 5,000 on both variants. 8/256 GB variant bumped from Rs 70,000 to Rs 75,000. And the 12/512 GB option goes up from 85,000 to Rs 90,000. See all the features they pack down below.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro
Ranked above the base option, their Redmi Note 13 Pro does a 120Hz refresh rate on a solid 6.67” AMOLED display. It’s an FHD+ high-res screen and peaks at 1300 nits brightness. And there’s a Gorilla Glass 5 shield to protect it from scratches and scuffs.
Then, in the camera section, the Redmi Note 13 Pro mounts a high-end ISOCELL 200 MP primary sensor. It doesn’t crop digitally but uses 4x in sensor zoom. 8 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro lens add more dimensions to your shots. The selfie shooter they used here is 16 MP.
Helio G99 Ultra, under its hood, is a reliable SoC. 5000mAh power source keeps the phone running all day. And if it runs out, you can recharge it with a 67W adapter. There’s a fingerprint under the screen, and the phone manages minor splashes and dust residue with an IP54 rating.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13
Redmi Note 13 ranks low on the scale but scores a brighter 1800 nits AMOLED panel. Other than that, there’s a fast 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution, all same as the Pro. That 6.67” screen has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, and Xiaomi makes it even more reliable with an IP54 rating.
A 6nm Snapdragon 685 and up to 8 GB can keep up with light to moderate usage. It won’t be as fast as Helio G99 Ultra, but it does handle the default Android 13 x MIUI 14 well. In the camera section, you’ll see a 108MP first camera. Right underneath will be an 8 MP ultrawide with a 2 MP macro to its flank.
16 MP punch-hole selfie camera lives up top. There are loud stereo speakers here and a screen-mounted fingerprint ID. This one has a 5000mAh cell that recharges with a 33W input. Even with the price changes, its features outweigh the cost.
