Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G Listed on IMEI Database; Global Launch Around the Corner

There will be a 5G Redmi Note 14 in the series. We just caught a glimpse of it on the IMEI database. That settles the debate about its existence, and for people who look forward to this, their listing also tipped away the model code — helpful for when the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G shows up on other certifications.

‘24094RAD4G’ is the model number they assigned it. You can tell it’s a global variant if you pay close attention. The letter ‘G’ at the end of that code gives it away as such. The IMEI database wasn’t good for any specs, though. All it confirmed is that the Xiaomi Redmi 14 5G may be close to a global launch.

But the rumor mill has its ears to the ground and picked up one or two solid leads into its hardware. There’s allegedly a 45W charging kit they planted inside the phone battery. MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ is the most likely chip to power Redmi Note 14 5G.

That last part with the SoC may be legit. A Hyper OS source code leaked earlier. And it had this Xiaomi's 5G new smartphone’s model code right next to the chipset title. And if you are wondering, there’s nothing special to Dimensity 6100 Plus, except maybe the 5G support. Think Helio G99, but with a modem upgrade.

We’ve crossed paths with the Note 14 series before in leaks. So we know their code names are Beryl, Amethyst, and Malachite. Of those three models, amethyst must be the call sign for Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and we hear a new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip is pulling the load inside.
