Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G Makes Ready for a Global Debut; Clears SDPPI Certification

There hasn’t been a global launch for the Redmi Note 14 series yet, even though those models are official in China and retail there as exclusives, but we are starting to notice some clues appear on the web that would advise a global launch could happen soon, at least for the Redmi Note 14 5G.

Indonesia’s SDPPI certification just listed this particular handset on their platform and assigned Note 14 5G a model code ‘24094RAD4G’ to clear it for a launch within their region. That suffix ‘G’ at the end means global, so the same make and model will also debut in most other places.

Suffice it to say that Indonesia will be one of the first regions to open retail for Redmi Note 14 5G. Nothing else came up in this SPPI certificate but we already know everything there is to know about Note 14 5G, that is if Xiaomi didn’t change anything in its global version.

They built Xiaomi's latest 5G model around a 6.67” OLED screen that hits 1.5k resolution, and its brightness of 2100 nits is up there with some of the highest-end phones out there. And yes, this screen can do a 120Hz refresh rate and even has a 16MP camera in a small punch hole.

Rear cameras are simple here, just 50 MP first + 2 MP secondary, and because of the lack of raw power, it can do 1080p recording max. It’s only a Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip and a HyperOS overlay on Android 14, so it’s about what you would expect from a mid-category phone. And what powers this Redmi Note 14 5G is a 5110mAh cell wired to a 45W charging kit.
