Note 14 Pro series just made its first appearance last month, but it was 5G exclusive, and knowing Redmi, it’s only a matter of time before they’ll debut 4G versions of the same handsets. One of them with the moniker “Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G” came forward yesterday in an FCC listing.
‘24116RACCG’ is the model code they assigned to it, and we presume from the suffix ‘G’ that it’s a global version you see here. There were a few key specs listed on the document and so far, they do not disappoint, at least for where the Note 14 Pro stands in the hierarchy.
It’s clear that by default, this 4G variant won’t measure up to the 5G one because it is only a 1080p POLED 6.67” phone. But it should be good enough for a display this size. Also, we can see at least four storage trims in play here: 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB, or 12/512GB.
Then comes the power section in that listing, and we learn that Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G is a 5500mAh phone, the size it also shares with the 5G version. But if this Xiaomi's new 4G handset has less resolution, and the chipset isn’t as powerful, the battery life will be even better here.
If the reports on the web are correct, they probably gave the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G a Helio G99 chip and that’s far inferior to the Dimensity 7300 Ultra they used on the 5G version. That’s probably why we see a low-res OLED here and also the reason you can anticipate a lower price tag for it.
