Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Certified by 3C; Reveals Fast 90W Charging Support

Redmi Note 14 Pro just took a big step towards launch. It has passed 3C certification in China. That’s their confirmation of the phone’s initial debut in the country. Another hint for Note 14 Pro’s unveiling in the native land is the model number ‘24115RA8EC.’

That model code ends with the letter ‘C.’ It’s usually the first clue of a Xiaomi device, specifically for the Chinese market. 3C certification also spilled the tea on this phone’s power adapter. It confirmed the peak charging speed Redmi Note 14 Pro can achieve.

This charger can fill the device at 5V x 3A or 15W charging at the lowest input level. And 20V x 4.5A gets you super fast charging at 90W when the phone battery gets empty. From Note 13 Pro’s 67W input, that’s a significant uptick, at least in the charging department.

Rumors claim that Xiaomi's new 5G mobile puts a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 to use. Qualcomm debuted this chip moments ago — a replacement for the old Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. That newly fabricated chip has a 20% faster CPU clock, 40% faster GPU, and 30% better AI performance.

Redmi Note 14 Pro might be the first-ever phone to put an SD 7s Gen 3 at its helm. There is also a possibility that this phone’s global variant has a telephoto lens within its tri-cam assembly. We don’t know all the tidbits yet, but surely, more details will come to light soon.
