Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ Outranks the iPhone 16 Pro Max in Trending Charts

Trending lists aren’t the common topic we usually touch on, but it’s rare to see a handset like the iPhone 16 Pro Max taken down by a phone like the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, in a popularity ranking anyway. It hasn’t been long since this phone showed up, and it’s already topping the charts against Apple. That says a lot.

This trending list came from GSMarena and they didn’t say how their ranking system works, but if we had to guess: they probably use their website’s search index to see what phones people searched for the most. That’s usually how all trending metrics work.

iPhone 16 Pro Max was number one, but people have been so excited about the Note 14 Pro Plus and its durability that it outranked even Apple’s best iPhone this year in popularity. It will go up again after some time, but let’s just watch how long this Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus relishes in its short-lived glory.

Note 14 Pro Plus is part of a bigger group, everyone knows that. People have also searched for the Redmi Note 14 a lot and that’s why it is in 3rd rank, and the 4th position has gone to Redmi Note 14 Pro, of course, part of the reason why they are trending is that their launch is very fresh.

Galaxy S24 FE is in 5th place, which is not bad, but people didn’t give it as much hype as we’d hoped, hence the downranking. It wasn’t in the top 5, but the Samsung Galaxy A55 did get a 6th rank pushed down from the 5th, and seeing that it launched in March, shows how popular this phone has been to this date.
