Xiaomi almost instantly released the Redmi Note 14 series in Pakistan after its global debut and we love to see it. It wasn’t clear from the teased microsite or any social media posts, but we finally have information on what models are released, how many variants, and even their price tags. So, here’s the feature breakdown for all three newbies.
Redmi Note 14
This is a vanilla model from the series with a flat AMOLED screen. It takes a few steps back from the rest of its siblings but the features don’t seem to be lacking in any way shape or form. The resolution is 1080p, and those pixels are pushed around at a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, its 6.67” AMOLED has a Gorilla Glass 5, so it can deal with minor scratches.
33W turbocharging support for its 5500mAh battery, and amazingly, the charger is dropped inside the box, so you don’t have to purchase it separately. This battery will power a Helio G99-Ultra 2.2GHz engine with at least 8GB RAM. Sadly, the system is Hyper OS 1, not the latest Hyper OS 2, so you are started with an Android 14.
Note 14 is reinforced from the inside, and its chassis is cleared with an IP54 rating, so it’s unquestionably durable. The other feature we like about this one is the under-screen fingerprint ID. And about its cameras: we have three on the back (108MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP Macro) and a 20MP front shooter for selfies. It’s a decent phone and the official price for Note 14 (8/128GB) is Rs 53,999, and the (8/256GB) costs Rs 57,999.
Redmi Note 14 Pro
It’s a step up but still a 4G-only phone and 2.2GHz Helio G100-Ultra bound. There’s not much of a performance boost over the vanilla model. Still, it’s undeniably a far better-looking device because of its curved AMOLED 6.67” screen. It’s 120Hz and 1080p, but more importantly, it’s super bright at peak 1800 nits level. We are just getting started with Note 14 Pro’s superb feature set.
Among all its other specs, you’d probably appreciate its camera most of all. The first shooter is a 200 MP high-res sensor, sitting beside an 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro. Its selfie camera is bumped to 32 MP. The battery is 5500mAh and the charging is turbo 45W with the charger inside its box.
IP64 rating is here, so it’s dust and waterproof among many other reliability provisions. If what they claim is right, this phone might stay with you for an extra long duration. And props to Redmi for giving it a Z-Axis haptic motor. That’s a rarity in the midrange. Note 14 Pro (8/256GB) costs Rs 79,999, and you can even buy it with more RAM and storage at (12/512GB) and Rs 94,999.
Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G
We saved the best for last. Note 14 Pro Plus is deservedly at the top, due to its 6.67" CrystalRes AMOLED display and 1.5k resolution. It’s a 120Hz refresh rate screen with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and everything runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Its brightness is 3000 nits, more than you could ever need. Like all others, the fingerprint is also inside the screen here.
One of its better qualities is a 120W Hyper charging with the charger within the box. It will charge fast surely, but the battery size is not as big as the rest — it’s only 5110mAh. It’s filled to the brim with AI, like the AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Subtitles, AI Film, or AI image editing. The SoC temps are kept down by the Liquid Cool VC chamber on Note 14 Pro+.
There are no apparent changes in the camera setup. This one is also 200MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP Macro. The image processing might bump its quality though. The selfie camera is 20MP. The durability of Note 14 Pro+ is the best among all three with an IP68 rating. So, you can dunk it in water and it will survive just the same. This phone is pricey though. Note 14 Pro Plus 5G (12+512GB) is rated at Rs 144,999.
You can purchase these phones online at Mistore, Xiaomi Sale, Daraz, and CoreCart at the same prices we mentioned here. To learn more about each handset, visit the Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+’s respective links in this article.
