Redmi Note 13s have lived their last days in the cycle, so the Redmi Note 14 series will take over in some days and to let everyone know about it, a formal announcement on their website has just gone live. We hear part of this year’s event is their beanfest for 420 million sales and it will be the 10th anniversary of Redmi Note series.

A full decade of existence for the Redmi Note family ended with 420 million phones sold worldwide, so it’s needless to say that a celebration has to happen. And they plan to do it right on the heels of their new chapter — a September debut for the Redmi Note 14 series.

At least in this event, three new phones will be all but some might join later. Also, all our eyes are on Dimensity 7350 and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 of the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro Plus because these are new chips; never seen on any phone before.

They refuse to show specs or features on the webpage with the formal announcement for the Xiaomi latest Note models, but there are some theories on the internet. We hear a 1.5k resolution curve display is to grace Note 14 Pro, the first time a curve screen has reached the base Redmi Pro class.

Redmi’s GM has already said that durability is a strong focus for this year’s phones and one of them could even see an IP68 rating. Not only that, but the GM gave a hint about water injury protection — a way to keep the phone safe even if the water breaks into the chassis, but it may not damage the circulatory.
